:P let's say we are not in the habit of asking people with a blog: "how comes you have not posted anything this week?"

Personally I find that question as irritating as: "Don't you wish to come back to Italy?". If I wanted to keep everyone updated on every second time I eat a steak, I'd use my twitter account not my blog...

My standard answer to the questions you get is shorter, less graphical but may be more confrontational. Asked whether I wish to come back to Italy to work, my answer is: "There is nothing in Italy".

If I want to be funny: "There is a lot of work in Italy. Really. For everyone. Unfortunately it doesn't come with pay."
